Our developed 'intelligence' has promoted the individual above the group, particularly in modern Society, and certainly since the twentieth century has created this dualistic view of the two. The task is bring the circle of thought round again to a fusion of the individual and society recognising that both not only can coexist but really need each other to survive and thrive.
